FRIESLAND will conceived and built also as an action vehicle for the film and television industry.

FRIESLAND is a replica of the 17th Century Dutch war vessel 'FRIESLAND', based on historical drawings and paintings.

Whilst retaining technical authenticity she enjoys the benefit of a marine diesel engine, bow thruster and generators

for the provision of both ship's and unit single and three phase power

supply and further all necessary navigation equipment for sailing safely around the world.

FRIESLAND can be chartered for television series and also to Film productions from end of 2010 on.

FRIESLAND has an overall length of 58 meters and a beam of 5,1 meter. She is authentically rigged for sailing with her

main mast standing 48 meters above the water and she has 2000 m2 working sails.

FRIESLAND will carries Maritime & Coastguard Agency certification for 100

passengers and 30 crew for day sailing, 18 passengers and 32 crew for offshore sailing around the world.
